The municipal training indicates that this situation in which the Murcia Town Hall has been immersed is very serious and points out that their fears about the possible involvement of the City Council in the 'Pokemon case', which would suppose the existence of irregularities, prebends and bad practices in the management of contracts and in the relations of the Consistory with companies of the Agbar group

NOW MURCIA is "very concerned" about the fact that the City of Murcia is being investigated in the 'Pokemon case' for possible irregularities in their relations with the business group Agbar, to which they belong Tribugest (municipal public company that manages the taxes ) and Hidrogea (private part of the public company Aguas de Murcia-Emuasa).

The municipal training indicates that this situation in which the Murcia Town Hall has been immersed is very serious and points out that their fears about the possible involvement of the City Council in the 'Pokemon case', which would suppose the existence of irregularities, prebends and bad practices in the management of contracts and in the relations of the Consistory with companies of the Agbar group.

As today has been known in the media, the then councilor Moya-Angeler could have committed irregularities that could have facilitated the awarding of the tax management contract in the municipality to the company Tribugest.

Murcia now remembers that it is a contract that costs all Murcia more than 6 million euros a year, when the unions themselves have indicated that it is an incesary outsourcing.

The municipal training highlights that in recent times have been uncovering possible irregularities in the company Tribugest to which now would be added those indicated by the 'Pokemon case', and that could mean that the contract of the City Council with Tribugest would be flawed from its very start.

Now Murcia also shows its concern because, according to what has been known, the Tax Agency investigates what happened when in 2007 the Municipal Corporation made the decision to renounce the preferential acquisition rights with respect to water and sanitation in the municipality, based on reports from the own company and not municipal legal services, as recorded in the investigation.

Based on this decision taken in this way, 49% of the shares have been able to continue in private hands (the current Hidrogea).

The municipal party indicates that it will be very vigilant before all these revelations that follow their judicial course, and asks what is what we are paying Murcia in the receipt of water, which is the most expensive in Spain.

Now Murcia concludes that all these plots what they reveal is possible flogging in public contracts to favor benefits of private companies over the general interest.

Now Murcia, who appeared in the 'Pokemon case' on March 30, will continue attentive and vigilant in the defense of the general interest.
