María Porras Alcón wins First Prize for CreaMurcia Micro-stories with her work 'Historic Distopia' (13/11/2017)

The Café Ficciones hosted last Saturday the end of the section of Micro-stories in the category of Literature CreaMurcia Contest organized by the Department of Youth that directs Rebeca Pérez.

The day began with the reading of the finalist micro-stories by their authors, to give way, later, to the reading of the awarded works in story and poetry.

After the deliberations it was announced that 'Historic Distopia' by María Porras Alcón was the winning work.

A work that has served the author to achieve the prize of € 500 for the best creation presented.

Along with her, the works of Barbara Ruiz Garrigós, Pascual Chinchilla Azorín and David Buendía Sánchez have also been recognized with a special mention by the jury.

The jury was composed of the councilor for youth and development cooperation, Rebeca Pérez as president, accompanied by technicians Rubén Castillo, Marisa López, Nieves Pérez-Abad and Juan Albaladejo as secretary.

It must be remembered that in the story and poetry section the first prize went to Ana María Soto Gil and her work 'Ifigenia.

Carne en el suelo ', and the three accésit fuero for Clara Sánchez Sánchez (' The Florida Keys'), Beatriz Miralles for Imperial Ollero ('The wind blows where it wants') and Marlon Alejandro Lorenty Vera (' Poesía de vapor ') .

To these works is added the special mention in poetry category to David Cano Gea, for 'The Journey of anxiety' and Andrea Tovar Pardo for 'Choreographies.
