The prefect of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life made these statements during the Eucharist held this morning in the framework of the Congress
The III International Congress of Brotherhoods and Brotherhoods continued this Saturday morning, with the celebration of the Eucharist presided by the prefect of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life, Cardinal Kevin Farrell.
During the homily, the cardinal stressed that "I have found in this university with young people who are willing to sacrifice personal gain for the good of all."
Cardinal Farrell has also stressed that "we can not serve two masters, we serve God with the talents we have and the UCAM is an example of how to prepare future generations to bring about a great change in society that aims to obtain the common benefit"
After the celebration of the Eucharist the Archbishop of Popayán (Colombia), Monsignor Iván Antonio Marín López, gave the lecture "For your cross and resurrection, Lord has saved us".
It should be noted that in the course of the morning session, the candidacy of Malaga to host the next International Congress of Brotherhoods and Fraternities has been presented.
The UCAM, which is the permanent seat for these congresses by appointment of the Vatican, gives the Andalusian city its organization for this fourth edition of the event.
Sacred drama 'Jesus of Nazareth'
Also framed in the acts of this congress, the sacred drama 'Jesus of Nazareth' was performed last Friday night at the Romea Theater in Murcia.
This performance is the work of Alfredo Santos with a review by Diego Carvajal and music by Julián Santos and Roque Baños.
More than 150 people including choir, actors and dancers participated in this production, accompanied by the UCAM Symphony Orchestra and the Discantus Choir.
