Cardinal Antonio Mª Rouco, Archbishop Emeritus of Madrid, presided over the Pilgrim's Mass that was celebrated this morning at the Santuario de la Santísima Vera Cruz de Caravaca

On the occasion of the celebration of the Jubilee Year of Caravaca de la Cruz, the participants in the III International Congress of Brotherhoods and Brotherhoods, together with a delegation from Equatorial Guinea, made a pilgrimage to the city to win the Jubilee.

The day began with the conference 'History and devotion of the Most Holy Vera Cruz', by José Antonio Melgares, Official chronicler of the Region of Murcia and Caravaca de la Cruz, who has taught in the Parish of El Salvador, from where the Jubilee Station has left.

Likewise, a Pilgrim Mass and the veneration of the Sacred Relic were celebrated in the Shrine of the Most Holy Vera Cruz, presided over by Cardinal Antonio Mª Rouco, Archbishop Emeritus of Madrid.

"To come to Caravaca as a pilgrim is to meet the love of God," the cardinal said during the homily.

'The Pilgrim's Gate'

After the Eucharist, the honorific distinctions of 'La Puerta del Peregrino', framed in the III International Congress of Brotherhoods, have been presented.

These, made by the MUHER artists, have been for the 1st Lady of Equatorial Guinea, Constancia Mangue de Obiang;

and Cardinal Antonio Mª Rouco, Archbishop Emeritus of Madrid.
