Cs accuses the PP of preventing more than three and a half million euros from reaching the districts to make investments (03/11/2017)

The parents of the orange training report that they feel frustrated when managing public money due to the unjust blockade of investments to districts by the PP and the continuous obstacles of the councilors of Decentralization and Finance who do not know or do not want to make their work

Citizens has returned to show their displeasure today before a new episode of Popular Party boycott of the money intended to make investments in the districts, more than three million euros that will not reach the neighbors of districts, where 60% of the population lives Township.

On this occasion, the representatives of the orange formation in the Municipal Juntas of El Palmar, Daniel Hernández;

Los Garres, Antonio Ramírez;

El Puntal, Salvador Ros;

Zarandona, Enrique Fuster;

and Los Dolores, Pedro Morales, among others, have revealed "the frustration they feel when it comes to managing the money for investments needed by their people."

They neither invest, nor want us to invest

In this sense, they have lamented the tremendous irresponsibility of the Government of José Ballesta, interested in himself and in satisfying his partisan interests, at the expense of the needs of the neighbors.

"The PP does not invest in the districts nor does it want us to do it," denounced the representatives of Cs, who have criticized "the partisan boycott of 70% of the money for investments;

as well as the lack of response from the Decentralization Councilor, José Guillén;

and the diligence of the mayor of the Treasury, Eduardo Martínez Oliva ".

Incoordination

"To this irresponsible management is added", said Cs spokesman, Mario Gómez, "the existing lack of coordination between the Department of Finance and the Decentralization.

"Not only have they boycotted the districts leaving them without 70% of the money that corresponds to them, but they have left without subsidies the majority of associations and groups of the municipality".

"It is incomprehensible and irresponsible that being able to publish the subsidies, as they did years ago in the month of October, they have refused to do so this year, thus harming the collectives and associations of districts," he said.

No subsidies or investments

El pedmar of El Palmar has been very upset because "the PP has deprived the associations and groups of 50,000 euros needed to promote culture, sports and the participation of neighbors in the life of our district;

and it has left us without 200,000 euros for investments that have been waiting for a long time, such as the arrangement of the sidewalks on Avenida Primero de Mayo to improve accessibility;

the adaptation plan for the exterior of the senior center approved months ago in the Plenary Session of the Municipal Board;

or the adequacy of the gardens, to name a few examples ".

Our development hinders

On the other hand, the pedáneo of Los Dolores has criticized that "the partisan and irresponsible policy of the PP is weighing the development of our districts".

"To my parish," he has reported, "he is entitled to 45,300 euros that we will not be able to enjoy, a necessary money to fix the sidewalks in the high street, install lighting in the gardens or improve the facilities of our school that are very obsolete" .

He has also referred to other investments necessary for his people the head of El Puntal, who has criticized that "deprive the neighbors of 53,000 euros to rehabilitate the Plaza de la Iglesia;

and rehabilitate sidewalks and streets in poor condition, some even nonexistent. "

The same happens in Zarandona and Los Garres where they have stopped receiving 90,000 and 83,000 euros respectively, preventing investments that are as necessary as paving streets and repairing sidewalks;

the installation of shading and arrangement of the patio and toilets of CEIP San Felix de Zarandona;

as well as the change of windows in pavilion A of the Antonio Díaz de Los Garres school, which, at this point in the 21st century, has been aluminum for sixty years.

Budget Draft 2018

Faced with this situation of boycott and lack of responsibility, the orange spokesman has appealed to the mayor of Murcia to "leave the posture and start working for all Murcia, without making differentiations."

Thus, he has once again demanded that José Ballesta "provide us with the first draft of the 2018 budget as soon as possible in order to reach an agreement for the benefit of all the neighbors and prevent the budgets from being blocked again."
