Promotion prepares the cession to the City of Murcia of the road that connects Los Dolores with Beniaján, Torreagüera and Los Ramos (31/10/2017)

The Ministry of the Presidency and Development prepares the transfer to the City of Murcia of the RM-300 highway, under the agreement between the regional and local Administration to build the North and South Coastal.

This was announced today by the Director General of Roads, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, during his visit to that road together with the Councilor for Public Works, Roque Ortiz.

The director checked the current status of the road, which has a total length of 8.5 kilometers, before proceeding to the transfer and announced the transfer of the RM-300, which connects the districts of Los Dolores, La Azacaya, Los Ramos, Beniaján and Alquerías, "once the road surface is repaired in those points that are damaged, the horizontal signaling is repainted and the damaged vertical signage is replaced".

Fernández Lladó explained that the RM-F6 highway, which joins the districts of Los Dolores with San José de la Montaña, will also be ceded, in which a reinforcement of the pavement will be carried out.

The director explained that in order to carry out this work, it is necessary to complete the Emuasa collector modification works, which are currently being carried out.

He also stressed "the importance of the investment made by the regional government for the construction and improvement of the Coastal, which exceeds 52 million euros, and that has meant a substantial improvement in mobility and safety of the roads surrounding the municipality of Murcia on the North and South side ".
