On November 12, the lottery of the ONCE will be dedicated to the International Congress of Brotherhoods (30/10/2017)

The ONCE, the Catholic University of Murcia, the Illustrious Cabildo of Brotherhoods and Fraternities of Murcia and the Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture of the City Council of this city have presented this morning, at the Real Casino, the ONCE coupon that carries the image of the International Congress of Brotherhoods and Brotherhoods, which will take place in the Region from November 8 to 12, and whose draw will be held on the 12th of the same month.

Juan Carlos Morejón de Girón Bascuñana, Regional delegate of the ONCE in the Region, explained that "five and a half million coupons will be named after this congress, and 20,000 people with disabilities will sell it throughout Spain", in one action of promotion of the Congress that shows the commitment of the ONCE with this event.

Meanwhile, Jesus Pacheco, Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture of the City of Murcia, has confirmed that "this coupon marks even more in history this event that we will celebrate in Murcia next week."

The president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza, stressed that "we have been appointed by the Vatican permanent headquarters for the international congresses of Brotherhoods and Brotherhoods", an event that will mean "the largest artistic and religious manifestation of the Region, with some thrones reflect the beauty of God's love, "and recalled that" John Paul II asked me to support Holy Week from the Catholic University. "

For his part, Ramón Sánchez Parra, president of the Real and Very Illustrious Town Council of Brotherhoods and Fraternities of Murcia, has assured that "Murcia will be the world capital of Holy Week during the next week", and that "there are already almost 200 registered in the Congress from outside the Region. "

Research on blindness

The ONCE Territorial Delegate, Juan Carlos Morejón, took the opportunity to thank UCAM for the efforts it is making in the research aimed at curing blindness.

José Luis Mendoza showed his satisfaction because the studies led by the extraordinary professor of this university, Juan Carlos Izpisua, on pigmentary retinosis "carried out in blind mice, are concluding that they recover 15% of the vision".
