Lola Sánchez encourages the residents of El Palmar to use and share the channels of communication that bring them closer to the City of Murcia and Local Police (28/10/2017)

The Councilor for Traffic, Security and Citizen Protection, Lola Sanchez, has participated this morning in an act with neighbors and associations of El Palmar in which he has reported the measures that the City of Murcia are being adopted to make a leap in quality in citizen participation in public affairs and in the interaction between the City Council and Murcia.

"What we seek is to turn participation into a norm of action to make Murcia the city that Murcia want, knowing their opinion, reaching the solution to their demands and developing projects for the continuous improvement of life in the city and the districts" , explained in his speech.

The Municipal Corporation intends to fulfill the commitment to build an open, efficient and transparent City Council, which provides clear, accessible, updated, structured and reusable information that allows Murcians to know and control government action.

It is important to mention that "from the City Council we are making an effort to implement citizen participation in its institutional structure, highlighting the involvement of the vast majority of the different departments of the City, in which they work together in the different actions and programs directed to favor and promote citizen participation ".

From the Department of Traffic and Public Safety have established different channels of communication between the City and Local Police through which citizens can channel their demands, concerns and all issues that have to do with security.

"What we intend is to obtain a more fluid and immediate relationship with you, our neighbors, and thus get to know in a direct way the problems that affect the citizens and the approaches of the same in the field of security," said Lola Sánchez.

This allows the Local Police to offer a more agile and efficient response in the application of strategies, programs and security plans, focused on the issues that most concern citizens.

Thus, in addition to telephone 092, Murcia can send their suggestions through the Mobile Office that runs through the municipality, by email or even Twitter.
