The Government Board has today approved the call for subsidies to promote sustainable mobility and energy efficiency of the municipality, promoted by the Department of Urbanism, Environment and Huerta, directed by Antonio Navarro.
The initiative has a budget of € 163,400, which will go towards measures to reduce the emissions of polluting gases associated with urban activity and will be applied to residential buildings that incorporate improvements in energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources in the lighting - installation of sensors, replacement of luminaires, etc. - heating, air conditioning and hot water.
It will also value the actions to provide community garages with charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.
For these cars, aid is available for direct purchase or acquisition through financial leasing or leasing operations.
In the case of buildings, it will be eligible up to a maximum of 2,500 euros and in electric vehicles up to a maximum of 4,500.
The deadline for submission of applications is three months from the day following the publication of the same in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia, the maximum amount to be granted of 163,384.53 euros.
This call is part of the commitments made through the signing of the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy, through which the municipality of Murcia will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 40% by 2030.
