Starting tomorrow, October 24, the University of Murcia (UMU) will award the trips made by bicycle or on foot by members of the university community.
An access platform with "um" beads will allow to accumulate the kilometers made well, and also in skates, to reward with the application of discounts and gifts to the participants.
The initiative, which is promoted by the Vice-Chancellor of Economy, Sustainability and Health Sciences, aims to be a motivation and quantification tool that promotes sustainable mobility and moderate physical activity, improving the health and quality of life of staff and students of the UMU:
In this first challenge, which begins tomorrow, participants can win a weekend in the countryside for two people.
The "Move for the UMU" challenge joins the incentive campaign called the Points Program, launched last year through the Sustainable Campus environmental management system.
For its implementation, for October 27, a bicycle route has been organized that will leave at 10:00 a.m. of the Plaza de la Sostenibilidad, on Espinado campus, with end in Alcantarilla.
