The first motorhome parking in the municipality is already underway, located in the public car park located between the Thader and Ikea shopping center, a strategic location, next to the A-7 motorway, and with access to the urban center by tram or bus .
This morning, the inauguration ceremony was attended by the Councilor for Education, Relations with Universities and Heritage, Rafael Gómez, the president of the Municipal Board of Churra and members of the Association of Motorhomes of the Region of Murcia (Ac-Mur).
Attendees have taken advantage of these days to collect food that will be donated to Abandoned Jesus.
The parking lot, which is authorized by the Department of Works and Projects of the Department of Development, has a clean point, equipped with a system of water deposit from shower and sink and black, in addition to drinking water supply, evacuation zone waste, lighting and signage.
The parking lot, which is free, has a capacity to accommodate between 70 and 80 motorhomes and is limited to a maximum of 72 hours.
According to data from different studies, users of the more than 30,000 motorhomes registered in Spain generate about 147 million euros per year in tourist activity, while some 200,000 motorhomes with more than 500,000 tourists visit Spain each year, spending about 280 million euros euros.
