The PSOE demands a comprehensive project to provide sidewalks and pedestrian access to the Salabosque Road (22/10/2017)

The Municipal Socialist Group will defend in the next plenary session a motion to demand the development of an integral project that will provide pedestrians, sidewalks and pedestrian ramps to the Salabosque Road, as it is a busy traffic crossing where spaces are not limited. pedestrians with the consequent risk that this implies, according to the councilwoman Begoña García Retegui.

Likewise, "bearing in mind that the conditioning of this road has already been demanded by the PSOE and, despite the danger involved for the pedestrian, the PP has ignored, so we insist through a motion for the project is executed as soon as possible, urgently and assumed with priority, "he says.

He also recalls that the Municipal Board of La Alberca has debated on several occasions on this infrastructure, and in February 2016 an initiative was approved in this regard, "without the Government team showed any interest."

The Councilor warns that the Salabosque Road is an orchard road shared by the districts of La Alberca and Aljucer, which runs from Palmar Avenue (old national road) to the urban center of La Alberca, crossing the Southern Coast, so "it is not necessary that we talk about the intense traffic, besides that it is a route widely used by the neighbors who use some of the services and facilities located in the area (women's center, Aquibla Institute)."

However, "the existing deficiencies for pedestrians prevent many times this one relinquishes to use the leisure, cultural, sanitary or economic resources that exist to avoid running the risk of accident.

In addition, in the bridge at the height of El Reguerón, the access ramps have a limited width, can hardly fit two cars when they cross, lacks shoulders and of course sidewalks (at the coronation of the bridge yes they exist but are very narrow and hardly differ from the road), in addition to that the limousines are of work and of low height.
