Murcia will host this weekend the 11th national edition and VII in Murcia of the tourist event of historical, cultural and educational recreations, 'Revive history ... of cinema', organized by the Association Codex Belix in collaboration with the City of Murcia, Ministry of Defense and Government Delegation.
Following the success of previous editions, with more than 150,000 visitors, this year will be attended by about 400 recreators belonging to 35 associations and groups of historical recreation from all over Spain, which will be joined again by foreign recreators.
Murcia and visitors will also be able to see historic civil and military vehicles, including the original North American and German World War II.
Between the events of the program it is necessary to emphasize, on Saturday 21, in the garden of the Malecón at the 13:30 hours, a recreation of the American Civil War 'Vicksburg-1863', the War of Secession between North (USYankis) and South ( CSA-Confederates).
In addition, a major film reenactment of the WWII Battle, Operation Market Garden-1944, with the defeat of the Allied Army in September 1944 in Arnhem (Holland) will take place on the Avenue Teniente Flomesta since 6pm and 8:30 p.m. with more than 300 actors, vehicles, special effects and a lot of action.

On Sunday 22, in the garden of Malecón, will recreate another battle of the
American Civil War 'Five Forks-1865' and as an end of activities, in the place of the Red Cross will take place the recreation of the Second World War of the Country Liberation-1944, as a tribute to those Spaniards who fought for the liberation of Europe with Allied armies.
One more year will be counted on the presence of the three armies that make up the Spanish Armed Forces and with the Civil Guard and National Police, who will show their equipment and photos of their missions in exhibitors especially attractive for the youngest at the entrance of the camps.

Thus, 'Revive the history ... of cinema' will offer a theme park where you can see, hear, touch and live more than 2,500 years of military history, from the warriors of ancient Greece, legionaries of the Roman Empire passing by the medieval knights and soldiers of the military orders of the twelfth century, the American Civil War or the great conflicts that hit the world last century, such as the First and Second World War.
Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the different epochs contemplating both the performances of the re-creators and collectors' pieces that only see the light in this type of events, as well as uniforms, vehicles and dioramas.
The 'Reenactment' or historical reconstruction is an Anglo-Saxon affair of recent establishment in Spain but that counts on hundreds of thousands of followers throughout the world.
