The Federation of the Metal Region of Murcia (FREMM) organizes the popular race 'FREMM 40 anniversary Red Cross' in order to help finance programs and projects destined by the Red Cross to children in the Region of Murcia, especially the project "Promotion of School Success".

A race that will take place next October 22 and that has been presented this morning in the City of Murcia.

The event was attended by Conchita Ruiz Caballero, Councilor for Social Rights, Felipe Coello, Councilor for Health and Sports, Alfonso Hernández Zapata, president of the FREMM and Faustino Herrero Huerta, regional president of the Red Cross in the Region of Murcia.

The starting time of the popular race will be at 09:30 hours and will be played for a 10k circuit along the banks of the Mota del Rio Segura.

At 10:30, the Solidarity March 5k will take place on the Paseo del Malecon and at 11:30 the children's races will be held on the Paseo.

Councilor Conchita Ruiz Caballero has highlighted the important work these entities perform with the youngest and their families, "to which we seek to provide them with all the resources to live in the best possible way when they are in a situation of social inequality."

For his part, Felipe Coello said that these initiatives "are a clear example of the support shown by the City of Murcia to children," while adding that "the collection that is obtained from the inscriptions and the 'dorsal zero' of all those who want to collaborate, will be used to provide support to improve school success. "

The collection of rorals will be made from Monday, October 16 until Friday, October 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., uninterrupted time at the headquarters of the FREMM at C / Metal de Murcia, on Saturday, October at the same venue from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and the day of the test from one hour before the start of the tests and up to 15 minutes before the start of the tests.
