The Spanish Association of Protocol has celebrated Saturday at the UCAM the II Professional Forum Protocol and Events, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Spanish Protocol Association, during which the presidents of both entities, Juan Ángel Gato and José Luis Mendoza, have signed a collaboration agreement.

The delegation in Murcia of the AEP has gathered in the Monastery of Los Jerónimos to great experts in this matter.

The event was inaugurated by Juan Ángel Gato, president of the Spanish Association of Protocol (AEP);

Manuel Pleguezelo, Director General of the European Union, Foreign Action and Cooperation of CARM;

José Guillén, deputy mayor of the City of Murcia;

Ana María Fernández, territorial delegate of AEP in Murcia;

Joaquín Hernández, chief of protocol of the UCAM, and Pablo Blesa, vice-rector of International Relations and Communication of the UCAM.

Alfredo Martínez, head of Protocol of the House of His Majesty the King, gave the inaugural speech, which emphasized in his speech that the performance of his department is based on "the exemplarity, functionality, and historical and emotional symbol of identity".

Alfredo Martínez emphasized that "in a renewed Monarchy for a new time", the one of the "Civic Monarchy", and has shared in a transparent way with the professionals and students of Protocol assistants the vision, the values, the criteria and the way of working of the Protocol Service of the Royal House, stating that "we have to build country".

Throughout the day, it is also planned to involve experts in protocol, events and projects of public and private institutions, companies, festivals or foundations.
