The Permanent Headquarters of the UMU in Cehegín has convened workshops to explore the structure and function of nucleic acids in Secondary Education, a workshop that will use a tool designed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (United States), where models are used specific molecules that can be manipulated easily and invite them to play and explore with them.
According to those responsible for the activity, Biology teachers today have the difficult task of teaching their students the function of a great variety of molecules, and this method allows to do it in an agile and fun way.
The workshops are led by Senna Corbalán García, a professor at the University of Murcia, and will be held in the town of Cehegín on 20 and 27 October and 10 November.
