A study on the removal of Acid Brown-83 dye in liquid effluents by membranes of nanofiltration, authored by Antonio Macario Legaz, graduated from Univesidad de Murcia (UMU), has obtained the first prize, in the form of technical- experimental in the contest convened by the Chair of Water and Sustainability of this teaching institution to the best master's degree jobs.
The award was presented to its author during the Conference on Public Procurement and Water held today, October 6, at the Faculty of Law of the UMU.
In the same contest, the winners of the prizes destined for works coming from universities located outside the Region, the winners were Lorena Lombana González and Sara Sánchez Torralbo.
With regard to the actual day, the opening session was attended by, among others, the rector, José Orihuela;
the vice-rector Francisca Tomás;
the director of the Séneca Foundation, Antonio González, and the manager of EMUASA, José Albaladejo, along with the Director of the Chair, Teresa Navarro.
The inaugural conference was given by the University of Alicante professor Santiago González, who spoke on the impact of the new regulation of contracts in the water sector.
