It is the second vandal act in little more than two weeks related to the works for the elimination of the railway line.

Two trucks used in the previous works for the burial of the tracks have suffered a fire last night.

According to local police reports, the agents came to the 23.50 hours alerted by a driver who warned of the existence of two vehicles burning next to the level crossing of Senda de los Garres.

Upon arriving at the scene, the police found that the fire had started in two trucks parked on a site near the road, affecting the rear, in particular, the rear tires, the electrical device and possibly the trailer.

A unit of SIX proceeded to quell the fire.

Until the firefighters finished their intervention, it was necessary to cut the traffic in the Avenue of Dolores, confluence with Senda de los Garres, and in Senda de los Garres, confluence with Shore of the Way.

The vehicles, brand IVECO, belong to a truck rental company without driver.

In the place was a unit of Scientific Police and two units of agents of the National Police Corps, who have taken charge of the investigation.

This is the second vandal act perpetrated against machinery used in the previous works for the burial of the roads.
