El Paso Azul de Lorca hosts from today, September 29, and until November 5, an exhibition on the embroidery in the hoods of walk of which is curator the University of Murcia (UMU) professor Verónica de Haro.
The exhibition aims to pay homage to this Spanish garment, adopted by bullfighting for centuries, to help spread the art of embroidery in this taurine clothing.
In the exhibition can be seen capotes of walk of different people, some of them, embroidered in Lorca, like the one that at the time was made for the right-hand man Joselito, or the one that belonged to the caravaqueño sword Pedro Barrera, that has been yielded by his daughter , María José Barrera.
There are also others by Luis Francisco Esplá, Antonio Bienvenida, Pepín Jiménez, Paco Ureña, José Tomás, Cayetano, Juan Belmonte and Manolete.
