The CSR Chair of the UCAM brings together the main companies in the Region to discuss the future of Human Resources policies (23/09/2017)

In this event, held at CROEM, the guests of the International Chair of Corporate Social Responsibility at UCAM have analyzed a new company culture, in which the selection of personnel becomes a source of added value for the company.

Also the two masters that on RSC offer the Catholic University have been presented.

This International CSR Chair works to create a business fabric that is socially responsible.

The Director of the Chair, Víctor Meseguer affirms that the objective of these days is to launch a new business chain, in which the Human Resources department is fundamental to manage the talent and contribute an added value to the company's strategy.

Among the attendees were representatives of companies such as Savic, Hidrogea or Grupo Fuertes.

For the Director of Communication and RSC of Hidrogea, Eva Franco "days like this, in which we share the knowledge and experience of the great companies of the Region, are necessary for us to spread the importance of applying Corporate Social Responsibility in all business ideas, putting in place projects to reconcile work and personal life or spread healthy living habits.

According to the director of Human Resources of the Fuertes Group, Manuel García "our department has a lot to say in the operation of the company, now it's not about hiring and paying employees, now we must think about the well-being of people, tastes, preferences and in what companies are able to offer the worker to carry out their work.

The event also featured the two CSR masters offered by UCAM: the CSR Master's Degree in Sustainability and Corporate Diplomacy and the Master's Degree in Labor Relations Management (CSR) and People Management which, according to its director José Daniel Martín, cover a gap that there existed in the Region on the training of Human Resources managers.

"These masters are designed to respond to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises, who want to have professionals in their departments who are up-to-date in the latest trends. The added value of this training is in the teaching staff: Labor inspectors, magistrates Social, Litigation, people who have held high positions in the General Treasury of Social Security and a cast of HR directors in the region that are a benchmark. "

For the director of the International Chair of Corporate Social Responsibility of the UCAM, Victor Meseguer, the main objective of these two masters is "to walk together with the entire business and social fabric of the Region of Murcia to build socially responsible territories, something that would be possible without the collaboration of the companies of the third sector ".
