From 27th to 29th September, the course of the International University of the Mar-Campus Mare Nostrum "Education for health and drug addiction" is held at the ISEN center in Cartagena.
The directorate is Juan Jiménez Roset, psychiatrist, General Coordinator of Addictions of the General Direction of Public Health and Addictions.
According to those responsible for the course, health education must respond to the different health needs that arise in our society.
Drug addiction, including tobacco use and alcohol abuse, is a priority health problem in our society, as it shapes harmful lifestyles, especially for young people and adolescents.
Therefore, health promotion and educational tools are essential.
The course tries to provide the theoretical bases for the development of health education in the field of addiction prevention, as well as to know the intervention strategies of health education in different scenarios and situations.
It lasts for 30 hours.
Students enrolled will receive 3 free credits 1 CRAU credit.
