UCAM meets next week with more than 200 educational entities from all over the world to continue promoting its internationalization (09/09/2017)

From today, Saturday and throughout the week, two major world meetings of universities are held in Seville to promote international relations, promote student mobility, work practices in other countries, research and the implementation of joint educational programs.

The Catholic University of Murcia will have a high profile in them, offering even an inaugural conference to present its successful model of training students from all over the world.

These are the ICEF Higher Education Workshop and the Annual Conference and Exhibition of the European Association for the Internationalization of Education (EIAE).

ICEF Higher Education Workshop

The Catholic University today opens the ICEF congress, of which it is its main sponsor, with the lecture "The access of the Spanish university for international students", which demonstrates its international character and successful model of training for foreign students, who this last year have been more than two thousand.

The UCAM delegation's agenda is already complete, with more than 50 interviews with university agents from more than 19 different countries, with whom it will discuss the possibility of working together and that these agents represent the Catholic University before the students of others countries.

Next week several of them will come to know the facilities of this university, in addition to the city of Murcia, so they have all the information first hand.

Congress and Annual Exhibition of the European Association for the Internationalization of Education

Also in Seville, the Congress and Annual Exhibition of the European Association for the Internationalization of Education (EIAE) is held from Tuesday to Friday, in which the UCAM will meet with more than 150 representatives of universities and foreign companies, to promote the international relations, student mobility and the implementation of joint educational and research programs.

This event will involve more than 5,600 professionals belonging to nearly 900 universities from over 90 different countries, which will be located in 640 exhibitors where they promote their superior educational offer.

The stand of the UCAM will be located in the Spanish pavilion "Study in Spain" next to 13 others that include 21 Spanish entities.

The agenda of the delegation of the UCAM is already complete with appointments every 20 minutes with other entities and companies with which the Catholic seeks to strengthen and develop new alliances.

Taking advantage of the relative proximity of this year's event, some universities will previously visit the Jerónimos Campus, home of the UCAM and the city of Murcia.

One of the objectives is to expand the number of companies in which UCAM students can carry out their work practices around the world and find new partners with which to develop research programs.

Three summer courses will also be closed with Mexican universities and relations with the FOM University of Germany will be strengthened, with a number of higher education programs already being implemented.
