The mayor of Ciudadanos Paqui Pérez has requested in writing to José Ballesta information on the actions carried out by the local government on the ficus of the Artillery Barracks.
Perez has reminded the mayor of Murcia that the tree of this area has been cordoned since last June when four branches of one of the ficus fell, but that, to this day, we do not know what measures have been taken on the ficus to guarantee the safety of the pedestrians and their correct maintenance.
Apparently, yesterday afternoon some branches of some of these trees fell, as we moved neighbors of the neighborhood who continue to show their concern about the situation of the trees and the lack of knowledge about the maintenance and security actions that the local government has planned to put on the march in the area.
Also, the councilor of the orange formation has asked José Ballesta to report on the approximate date in which there will be an adaptation of the environment of the Artillery Barracks in terms of cleaning, removal of fencing, security measures and maintenance of the woodland, among other issues.
