The Department of Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, directed by José Guillén, keeps the deadline until 1 October to request the installation of bars at Christmas parties and, as a novelty, also for the Spring Festivals.

According to Guillén "in this way we managed to facilitate and streamline this service and be more decisive, allowing hoteliers to be carefree since they can make the request at the same time and well in advance" which allows to optimize and plan much better the hoteliers all necessary contracts, both personnel and material, for those dates.

From the municipal website www.murcia.es you can download and consult the instance, the decree, the responsible declaration and the streets for the placement of bars on December 24 (Christmas Eve), December 31 (New Year's Eve), April 3 (Bando de la Huerta) and April 7 (Burial of the Sardine).

In the instance it is necessary to indicate, in addition to the requested linear meters, for which parties the permission is requested.

According to the decree, the assembly of the bars will start at 8 o'clock and the dismantling will be at 22 o'clock and it will not be possible to obstruct the pedestrian crossing, nor the traffic nor the access to portals.
