The UMU organizes the first postgraduate course in Europe on documentary projects (05/09/2017)

On October 16 begins at the University of Murcia the First Master's Degree in Animated Documentary Projects ANIMADOC, the first postgraduate course on this specialty in Europe.

The master's degree is promoted by the Faculties of Fine Arts and of Communication and Documentation, under the direction of professors Alfonso Burgos and Gabriel Ferreras.

Its main objective is to train students with the necessary tools to produce documentary animation projects independently, an emerging genre that is highly valued internationally.

In addition, students are expected to gain the necessary knowledge to seek funding and participate in international festivals among other aspects.

The Master has a professional character and has a duration of sixty credits for a full academic year.

Its teaching methodology is designed as a project incubator with seminars and workshops that complement the different aspects of the production of the documentary animation project.

From design to participation in film festivals, animation seminars, design and pitching workshops, team-to-team tutorials or the premiere at the Regional Film Library are some of its attractions.

In addition to the Regional Film Library Francisco Rabal, has the collaboration of the producer Azenaya and TICARUM SLU.

The pre-registration is open until September 12, while the registration and application for scholarship can be made between September 25 and October 11.
