The Councilor for Town Planning, Environment and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, has stated that measures and procedures are being carried out to increase safety in the most conflictive bicycle benches for being the target of vandalism.
For this, one shuffled actions is the installation of security cameras, for which it is necessary to have the corresponding authorization.
Likewise, Navarro appeals to the public awareness and collaboration to "respect and maintain in the best conditions our heritage, of which the bicycles are part. Breaking and deteriorating them is an unimaginable maneuver that must be denounced and censored by all."
In addition, Navarro recalled that the company in charge of MUyBICI service has taken advantage of the summer to repair damaged bikes, with the intention of being in optimal conditions for the start of the course.
"It has taken advantage of the summer season, where there are fewer users, to repair and tune all bikes and that are in optimal conditions to give a better service to citizens," he concluded.
