Canoeists from the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) Cristian Toro and Marcus Cooper Walz added a new medal in the World Canoe Championship being held in Racice, Czech Republic.
In the test of K-4 500 meters, the canoeists UCAM next to Rodrigo Germade and Carlos Garrote were made with the second position surpassed only by the boat of Germany.
Marcus Cooper ends the World Cup with gold and silver while Cristian Toro leaves Racice with two World Cups.
Both were Olympic champions in River 16.
But the good participation of the palistas linked to the UCAM does not stop there.
In the last day, Javier Hernanz was on the verge of climbing the podium in K-4 1,000 meters after finishing fourth with his teammates Óscar Carrera, Rubén Millán and Javier Cabañín.
Sete Benavides was fifth in the final of C-2 200 meters in company of Antoni Segura.
In addition, Teresa Portela achieved victory in the Final B of K-1 200 meters. In the previous day, Paco Cubelos had finished sixth in the final of K-2 1,000 meters and Sete Benavides had been eighth in C-1 200 meters .
