Some 30 files have been processed today by the City Council's Recruitment Board, chaired by the Councilor for Finance and Contracting, Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, and with the attendance of representatives of the municipal groups.

Among the issues addressed have highlighted those related to social services, street cleaning, education and gardens.

The most relevant was the request for documentation to the company Televida Servicios Sociosanitarios as a preliminary step to the proposal for the award of the new contract for home teleassistance, whose estimated value for the entire duration of the same amounts to 1,870 .243 € (VAT excluded) and will be in force until December 2019 and extendable until the end of 2021. The objective is to start lending on October 1st.

This contract will provide continuity of care to the more than 2,400 users who currently benefit from this service, including an estimate of monthly growth if demand so requires and at a cost totally free for those served.

In the same way is the project of installation of new container points underground in districts and districts, whose budget amounts to 255.753 € (excluding VAT).

The plan, developed by the Department of Development, directed by Roque Ortiz, plans to expand this infrastructure to a hundred strategic points of the urban centers, which in its first phase will allow to bury the containers of four points in the historic center: Madre de Dios , Plaza Cetina, Calle Pinares and Plaza de Santa Catalina.

Four gardens

Regarding the activities in gardens, the Contracting Bureau has agreed the proposal to award four projects: Alameda de las Cuatro Piedras, in Paseo del Malecón, with a budget of € 117,678 (excluding VAT), which is part of the project 'Murcia Río', to be contracted with Nueva Codimasa;

The completion of the garden next to the City of Justice, which will be commissioned by Pavasal Empresa Constructora for € 299,349 (excluding VAT);

The new playground and garden cover Camino Viejo del Badén, in High Era, which will run JMP Works, Services and Environment, with a budget of € 37,411 (excluding VAT);

And the remodeling of the Avenida de la Constitución, Sangonera La Seca, which will be built by Manuel Noguera Gil, with a cost of € 50,032 (excluding VAT).

On the other hand, also has given the green light to the adjudication of three files promoted by the Education service.

Specifically, the repair projects in the CPEE Pérez Urruti, of Churra, which will undertake Trisacor Infraestructuras y Servicios, with a budget of € 63,442 (excluding VAT), and in the CEIP Escultor Salzillo, San Ginés, to be carried out by Constu -Archena, with an amount of € 45,500 (excluding VAT).

In addition, the Contracting Board has resolved to propose the award of the service of conservation and maintenance of schools located in the city to Projects and Services Francisco Romero, with an estimated expenditure of 69,241 € (excluding VAT).
