The neighbors of Era Alta will have in a few months a renovated and modern children's playground next to the garden located in the Camino Viejo del Badén.
The space will be perfectly adapted to current safety regulations and with many functionalities including, among others, integration elements for people with reduced mobility as well as elements of sound and visual stimulation.
The Councilor for Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, José Guillén, explained that "an immense playground area of ​​more than 270 square meters will be created in one of the most crowded squares and spaces in this hamlet. Objective is none other than having play spaces for children of all ages while generating spaces for people with reduced mobility.
The project also includes elements to combat heat such as installing pergolas of a material that will allow light to pass but will reduce the impact of the sun's rays on the children who are enjoying their children's games.
The area will be delimited by a metal fence and polyethylene slats that will adapt to current safety regulations in children's play areas, while limiting access to the site.
In this way, says Guillén, "we respond to the neighborhood demands demonstrating our clear and determined bet by Murcia residents in the districts."
