The Councilor for Development, Roque Ortiz, has supervised different works of renovation and improvement of the last Plan of Actions approved by the Board of Directors of Emuasa with a total amount of 10.4 million euros.
Specifically, it has been carried out the visit of the renovation works of the supply network in Calle Mayor de Rincón de Beniscornia which consist of the installation of a supply network of 250 meters in total length by means of FD-150 mm pipe.
These works will replace the existing already obsolete supply network and fiber cement material in diameters 125/100 that deteriorates and causes eventual breaks and cuts in supply, thus improving the supply of drinking water in the hamlet of Rincon de Beniscornia.
It also contemplates the replacement of the 21 supply connections affected by the installation of the new line.
The execution budget of the works amounts to 176,995.51 euros and the execution period of the works is two months
The councilman has also supervised the work of interconnecting drinking water supply networks in the Nueva Condomina urbanization and the urbanization La Ladera de Churra
The works consist of the installation of a supply network of 272 meters in total length by means of a ductile iron pipe 200 mm in diameter, in three sections:
- Urbanization section Nueva Condomina, located to the northwest of the highway A-7.
- Horizontal pitch, located substantially perpendicular to the A-7 motorway.
- La Ladera urbanization section, located to the southeast of the A-7 motorway.
This connection optimizes the hydraulic infrastructure in the area since the interconnection allows two alternative supply possibilities to the Urbanization of La Ladera and an optimal use of the deposit of Nueva Condomina improving the water quality by increasing the rate of renewal of it .
Likewise the energy efficiency of the system is improved, being able to put out of service the Pumping of Red of Lower of the Hillside.
In order to cross the A-7 dual carriageway, a tunnel perforation has been carried out using a 600 mm diameter 6 mm thick metal sheathing and extraction by means of auger, inside which the 200 mm Ductile Casting .
The budget for the works is 161,714.26 euros and the execution period is 2 months.
