To bring together cultural concern and artistic creation, offering the students of the last year of training in Fine Arts a real field of work, are the objectives of the Artesiano initiative, a project of research and artistic creation with formats transmedia and hypermedia that they realize since 2015 In collaboration the Department of Fine Arts of said Faculty of the University of Murcia and the Cultural Center of Zarandona of the Department of Culture of the City of Murcia.

The young artists develop in transmedia code a work centered and inspired in the hamlet and the neighbors of Zarandona.

The overlap between students, neighbors and interested people is total, as they all share information and reflect on the chosen topic.

If last year was water, this year has been the dream.

Dream and dreams in the widest sense: the visions that come when you sleep, the dreams that represent the aspirations of each ... How are the dreams of the neighbors and neighbors of Zarandona?

The results could be seen in the Cultural Center of Zarandona last June, and will be exhibited again at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Murcia in the dates close to the beginning of the course.

With a peculiarity with respect to the sample that could be seen in Zarandona: the incorporation of a card holder that includes postcards from which to access the set of projects developed in previous editions, as well as other invited projects developed mainly by students of the subject Audiovisual Projects And Multimedia.

This "postalero", that alludes to the famous sculpture of the artist Perejaume, is a game of mirrors that reflects the context (in this case, the creative one) and that feeds with each action.

Guided from the UMU by Verónica Perales (coordinator), Yolanda Remacha and Elena López, and from the City of Murcia by María José Planes, Juan A. Almagro and Mila Gallego, Artesiano is a project that, as a connective tissue, Exchange and dialogue between artistic practice and the social fabric.

The project is integrated into the research contract Application of hypermedia and transmedia formats to cultural projects.
