For that moment it is estimated that Aguas de Murcia will have completed the repair of the small breakage produced tonight in a water pipe as a result of the surveys that are carried out.
The damage has been caused by rubbing the pipe laterally, without causing a total rupture.
The rub, which is located on the side of the Barrio del Carmen, has been caused by deviating 1.5 centimeters above the correct point of incision.
The traffic will be resumed this afternoon with one lane, keeping the other one closed in order to advance as much as possible the work planned to carry out the surveys on the pavement.
These labors were scheduled for tonight's and tomorrow's nights, but by working this afternoon they will be able to conclude tonight.
Thus, from that moment on, the two lanes will open, which will no longer be closed.
Technicians of the Heritage Service of the Directorate General of Cultural Property, along with the archaeologist of the City Council, have come this morning to the Old Bridge to verify that it has not suffered any damage as a result of this incident.
