The technical services of the Department of Urbanism and Environment will inspect a fruit and juice company located in Churra after a complaint by Cambiemos Murcia about the excess of "noises and smells" produced by the productive activity.
The municipal formation, echoing the complaints of neighbors of the districts, raised to the plenary session of this Monday a motion calling for the intervention of the City Council within the framework of its competences in environment, quality and environmental assessment.
The initiative, which was unanimously approved, also required the aforementioned council to carry out the necessary actions to mitigate or eliminate possible noise and atmospheric pollution emitted by the company.
Diego Reina, vocalist of Cambiemos Murcia in Churra, explained that the company has been in the last few years with little activity, and that for a few months it has been operating at full capacity, "generating noises and odors that go in crescendo", which causes Severe discomfort to neighbors and neighbors, especially at night.
