The Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, attended the presentation of the campaign to raise awareness and activation 'Aclara psoriasis' on this disease in the square of Teatro Romea, promoted by Action Psoriasis in collaboration with Novartis.
The objective of this campaign is to sensitize the population about the social and psychological impact of psoriasis and to raise awareness among those who suffer from it that it is possible to achieve a better control of symptoms and a better quality of life.
For this, an information point has been installed in the Piazza del Teatro Romea which will be until next Saturday from 11.00 to 21.00 hours.
In addition, there will be a performance at the foot of the street led by four bicycles that will cross the streets of Murcia to inform the maximum number of people and clarify doubts about it.
Likewise, 'Clarify psoriasis' includes various informative and formative activities aimed at patients and the general population, dermatologists and pharmacists that will be developed throughout the year.
Psoriasis affects 2.3% of the population, which means more than one million people in Spain, and more than 10,000 patients diagnosed in the municipality of Murcia.
