A course from Universidad del Mar addresses the challenges of the current Spanish political system (10/07/2017)

"Challenges of the Spanish political system" is the title of the course of the University of the Sea-Campus Mare Nostrum that will be held at the Isaac Peral Act Hall, Faculty of Business Sciences of the UPCT from 18 to 21 July.

The objectives of this activity are to analyze the challenges of the current Spanish political system, the regeneration of democratic institutions, reform of the Constitution, reform of the electoral system, reform of the territorial organization of the State or the proper functioning of the powers of the State.

The course will also address the territorial backbone of the Region of Murcia through a debate on the biprovincialidad of the Region.

To this end, specialists in the field such as political scientists, sociology and law professors will analyze current issues and the functioning of the political system of the 1978 Constitution. The course includes a political Communication workshop by the political scientist Ana Belén Navarro Churches.

The course is led by Francisco Manuel García Costa and Antonio Garrido Rubia, professors of the University of Murcia.

The activity is destined to students of the Degree in Political Science and Public Administration, of Degree in Law, as well as of the other Degrees of Social and Legal Sciences, and public interested in these matters.

The duration of the course is 30 hours.

Participants will be able to obtain 3 freely configurable Credits or 1 ECTS-CRAU Credit
