The City of Murcia has signed a collaboration agreement with the Manuel María Vicuña Foundation thanks to which 50 women have been cared for in the training program and 3 received full pension in the course of 2017.

The result of this collaboration is now the grant of 12,000 euros for the development of its project entitled "Center for Listen, Reception and Accommodation for Immigrant Women," approved this Friday at the Governing Board.

A game that will allow to promote a wide catalog of activities aimed at training and promotion with immigrant women in order to meet their needs and provide them with the necessary resources for their full social integration.

All this "acting with a sector of population that by its social conditions are included in the population sector at risk of poverty and social exclusion, which is attached to their status as a woman immigration, which for them involves a double discrimination ", Highlighted the Councilor for Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz.

The deadline for execution of the activities foreseen in the project is 31 December 2017.
