The Catholic University of Murcia has had a meeting with the Shandong Sports University of China, a private university exclusively dedicated to sport.
In this meeting, the entrepreneurs of the Asian country have been able to see UCAM first hand and have visited the UCAM Sports Center, the Sports Palace and La Condomina football stadium.
In the act have been present, Josefina García, rector of the UCAM;
José Luis Mendoza García, director of Institutional Relations;
Wang Yi, president of the National Academy of Soccer and Basketball of China;
Lian Zengwei, Director of International Relations at Shandong Sports University, among others.
Wang Yi, secretary of the University and future president of the national academy of soccer and basketball, commented that "we know that UCAM is a university that has developed rapidly, with great success and we need your help."
Regarding his visit to the UCAM, Wang Yi mentioned that "I have been able to understand that it is a complete university, specialized in the world of sport, so I think this collaboration will be very successful for both institutions."
Javier Ramírez Perdiguero, a professor at CAFD at UCAM, explained that "we detected that there is a need for another successful University in the sport to help them develop the sports academies that will begin in September with 300 students. A country that bets on the sport, in fact they have introduced in secondary education like obligatory subject the soccer ".
