The Municipal Socialist Group has defended in the municipal plenary of the month of June own and joint initiatives that cover numerous areas.
Like its own, the PSOE has managed to carry out its initiative to finally, after years of petitions, rallies and motions, that the educational centers of the municipality are conditioned to the high temperatures.
Socialist Group spokeswoman Susana Hernández recalled the importance of public education and quality in conditions.
"Time has given us reason in the need to adapt the centers to the heat that is lived in our municipality. There can be no schools without air conditioning or obsolete electrical installations that do not allow the air to be lit."
In addition, also in educational matters, the Socialist Group has taken forward the initiative presented together with Citizens, Now Murcia and Cambiemos Murcia to create safe school roads that allow students of the municipality to reach their schools safely.
Another approved initiative has been the reference to the Monte Liso Partial Plan.
On this occasion, the motion to annul the approval of this Plan has been added the petition that in a transactional way has defended the PP to indicate that the legality must be fulfilled.
Thus, in the same way, the goal of managing to conserve Monte Liso for the enjoyment of neighbors has been achieved.
The promotion of awareness campaigns and measures to end violence in sport has been another of the approved socialist motions that has had the unanimity of the Plenary.
In relation to the equitable distribution of European Funds for Sustainable Urban Development, the PP and Citizens have prevented the PSOE initiative from seeking to prioritize urgent actions in neighborhoods such as La Paz, El Carmen or Los Cabezos de La Cruz and Collado in Cabezo de Torres.
The Socialist Group also wanted it to be a consensual decision at a table created for that purpose.
Regarding the debate on the new ordinance of fords, despite the fact that it contains the socialist proposal for lowering the rates, the new ordinance does not contemplate any change in the taxable event, that is, the reason for charging or Not the rate.
In this way, the ordinance continues to establish the collection to both those who make use of the ford and to whom, although having a rebound, does not use it.
Thus, the Socialist Group has abstained from maintaining this taxable event.
