Treasury summons the providers of the City to a training session next Monday to adapt to the electronic contracting (29/06/2017)

The City Council continues to incorporate new measures to boost bidding and ensure freedom of access to tenders, advertising and transparency in contracts, in order to ensure greater participation in these procedures.

The regulations governing public procurement establish for the year 2018 the electronic processing of the procurement files.

In this sense, and by extending the guarantees provided for in the regulations, in order to increase attendance and transparency, the City Council has already implemented electronic submission of tenders in the procedures for awarding smaller contracts.

In order to comply sufficiently in advance with the aforementioned legal forecast, the electronic submission of tenders will also soon be implemented in the open procedures convened by the City Council, so that each tenderer must present the corresponding offer from his PC with The saving of time and displacements that this implies and with all the guarantees normatively foreseen.

In this sense, the City Council has signed with Pixelware, a contract for the electronic management of procurement files and for electronic bidding.

Therefore, in order to facilitate the submission of bids to the bidders, a training session will be held next Monday, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, in the Hall of Acts of the Annex Building to the Town Hall.
