The councilman of Cambiemos Murcia Nacho Tornel has asked the Government team, through a motion to be debated Thursday in plenary, to request Emuasa the transfer of the plot located next to the Santa Rosa de Lima school in Los Rosales de El Palmar, to build an auditorium that serves both the educational center and the citizenship of the neighborhood.
The initiative arose from a visit to the neighborhood with the vocal of Cambiemos Murcia in the Municipal Board of El Palmar, Enrique Baeza.
The solar, of about 2,000 square meters, has a half-buried potable water tank built in 1962 that is out of order "and constitutes a potentially useful space if it is adequately conditioned", according to Baeza.
For the mayor of the municipal formation, the site and the deposit are strategic because of its geographical location, south of Los Rosales, and for the school itself, hence its proposal to go through the conditioning of the space to enable it as an annexed activity room The Santa Rosa de Lima, which lacks an area of ​​these characteristics and whose facilities are insufficient to meet the needs of the center and initiatives that the school itself is willing to undertake in collaboration with the neighborhood.
