University of Mexico and Colombia specialize in Political Communication at UCAM (26/06/2017)

A group of 25 students, from universities in Mexico and Colombia, have arrived at UCAM to receive two intensive courses in Political Communication and Leadership and Entrepreneurship during the summer months.

The students belong to two higher centers in Mexico such as the Tecnológico de Monterrey (TEC), which has 20 campuses throughout the country, and the University of Irapuato, in addition to having a university in Colombia.

The students will work on issues related to political communication and will also make visits to different places in the Region.

"We have 23 Mexican students and two Colombians who come to the University's School of Communication to complete these two degrees. We are very happy because this means that institutions with The ones that we collaborate trust in us ".

Regarding UCAM's commitment to internationalization, Pablo Blesa commented that "the University is promoting the summer courses to be active during the month of July, as always. A week ago we hosted a group of Americans and next week We received 35 Asians who come to study Spanish. "

For his part, Walter Schaw, a professor at the University of Irapuato, explains that he has come "because he is interested in having his students come here and can take a double degree."

Isabel Hernández comes from the Universidad Católica de Oriente in Colombia and has come to UCAM to study political communication for "the experience of going outside and knowing another culture and a different educational system."

Likewise, Maria Fernanda Utrilla comments that in the Tecnológico de Monterrey she studies International Relations and now she is going to carry out the Course of Political Communication in the Murcia institution to complement her career: "From UCAM I was struck by its international openness and the curriculum Of the degree, which is very complete. "

It is the third consecutive year that the Catholic University of Murcia develops these courses cooperating with the Latin American institutions.
