The spokesman for the orange formation, Mario Gomez, will defend a motion in plenary on Thursday, June 29, urging the local government to initiate the necessary procedures to request the accession of the municipality of Murcia to the network Challos (Network of Territories Socially Responsible), under the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.

"From Ciudadanos we understand that our incorporation into this network would be positive because it would allow us to move towards a more sustainable and socially responsible municipality from the economic, social and environmental point of view," said Gómez.

"So far, there have been many motions that we have brought to the Plenary of Murcia related to sustainability and social responsibility, but most of them," Cs spokesman lamented, "have been left on paper wet."

"We hope that, on this occasion, we will carry out this proposal and make it happen as soon as possible," said Gómez, who once again emphasized "the need to move towards a responsible territory that integrates into its economic decisions considerations of a social and Environmental issues;

And that it shares a system of values ​​and a participatory method in the decision making that affect the whole of the citizens ".
