The Government Board has approved the award of the project to carry out the remodeling works of flowerpots and cover of children's games on the avenue of Europe, which are expected to begin this summer.
These works, which will be implemented by the Department of Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, led by José Guillén, will allow the rehabilitation and renovation of the green space of flower pots and create a shade space on the boulevard this avenue, both for children who enjoy Of the children's games and for adults who use the living areas.
Thus, shade will be created on the benches of the planters through the assembly of vegetable pergolas, which are part of the structure itself.
Under the 17 flowerpots that are distributed throughout the avenue will install a waterproof mesh to prevent water seepage in garages.
Works on the boulevard will consist of two performances.
On the one hand, and for the renovation and repair of the planters, they will be emptied of land, their waterproofing will be replaced, their drainage will be improved, for their later filling and plantations with irrigation system with dripping.
They will also recover those detachments of prefabricated elements, and will be cleaned to recover their original aesthetic.
On the other hand will proceed to the renovation and shade of the eight planters with benches of rest, making a pergolas of metallic structure to support climbing plants, providing a vegetable shade and aesthetic improvement of the area.
In addition will be installed pergolas-awnings taking advantage of existing reinforced concrete pillars for the placement of posts that will hold the awnings that provide a surface to cover children's play with rubber pavement of 117 square meters.
The term to carry out these works, which will develop Eneas Servicios Integrales, is two months and the budget amounts to 55,384 euros.
