The finalist bands have today interpreted an acoustic theme at the Teatro Circo;

The Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, and the Councilor for Youth and Development Cooperation, Rebeca Pérez, presented at the Teatro Circo the finalists of the CreaMurcia contest in the pop-rock category: Adiós Nicole, In-Pulses and New Ways, which today have played a theme in acoustic, to warm up engines in the face of the big final that will be played this Saturday, June 17, in the Park of Fofó, starting at 20.30.
The final Saturday will feature the performance of Rozalén, winner in 2008 of the then called CreaJoven, and artist of reference in the national music scene.
The price of tickets is 8 euros in advance and 12 at the box office.
Three are the bands - of the forty who attended the competition - who have managed to overcome the different phases and convince the members of the jury to reach the last phase before and opt for the triumph.
Goodbye Nicole (with four members, pop / brit style, CreaMurcia finalists in 2013), In-Pulses (with four members, psychedelic pop-rock, semi-finalists in 2016), and New Ways (six components and rock music style) Will interpret their themes before the hundreds of attendees who are going to meet in this enclave.
"The music scene in Murcia is boiling and it shows not only the number of emerging bands but also the technical quality of the music they play," said the mayor, who recalled that this contest promoted by the City of Murcia has been "an effective Platform for groups now consecrated as Second, Analogic, Varry Brava, Alondra Bentley, Funambulista or the singer Rozalén.
The jury for the final will be chaired by Councilwoman Rebeca Pérez, who will be accompanied by Clara Plath, Jesus Cobarro, Angel Sopena and Joseph Filemón, as well as Juan Albaladejo, head of the Cultural and Educational Dynamization Program, who will serve as secretary.
For this edition there are three economic prizes, € 1,500, € 800 and € 500 for the first, second and third place respectively, as well as the recording of a CD with themes from the three finalist groups.
Rozalén returns to the place that discovered her as a successful artist
This time the invited artist will be the composer Albacete Rozalén, one of the most prestigious artists of the national music scene and winner of the CreaJoven Contest in 2008. Nine years later she has experienced an upward projection to
First line and now will offer with his band a complete performance for all the attendees.

Other news
In addition to the cash prizes and the recording of a disc between the finalist groups, the Youth Council has decided this year to take a step further and continue to collaborate in the growth of young bands.
As promised by the Mayor José Ballesta during the presentation of the final of the last edition, it has been decided to give an aid for each group of 50% of the annual cost of the test site, which will benefit a total of 18 groups Of the three categories called in Music (Pop-Rock, Other Trends and Song of Author).
In particular in Pop-Rock have already been proposed by the Jury the three finalists plus other three outstanding during the semifinals, constituting a waiting list among the rest of semifinalist groups.
The estimated budget for these grants is € 16,000 in total.
