The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports processes the bidding process for the contracting of works of partial remodeling of stairs at the IES Rector Don Francisco Sabater Garcia, from the Murcian hamlet of Cabezo de Torres.
The deadline for the receipt of bids was concluded this week.
The works have an initial budget of 116,250 euros and will consist of the creation of an additional corridor on the ground floor to expand the area, as well as a staircase.
The Community will invest in the municipality of Murcia a total of 6 million euros during 2017 in improvements and expansion of educational infrastructures within the strategy '+ Quality Education, + School Success' of the Ministry of Education.
Strategy '+ Infrastructures'
Through the '+ Infrastructure' Strategy, the Ministry works on the revision and reform of educational infrastructures to detect the main needs of the centers.
Thus, the Community plans to invest some € 20 million this year in order to have more comfortable schools and institutes for teachers' education and student learning.
