The City of Murcia continues to support the work of entities such as Traperos de Emmaus, which is responsible for offering guidance and comprehensive support to people with special difficulties.
The Governing Board approved this morning a grant of 50,000 euros for the Traperos Association of Emmaus in order to carry out a project of psychotherapeutic attention and promotion of volunteering.
Of this last one will be favored 45 people.
Among the objectives of this entity is to promote the autonomy of the most needy people, manage the necessary resources for basic social and health care, promote social support measures and family mediation for those who need it, and also coordinate educational aspects Of the accompaniment with the formation in social skills.
In addition, Traperos de Emmaus offer individual therapy, in group, support to addictions training in social skills, guidance and training workshops for labor insertion.
This organization works for the promotion of volunteering among people of all ages of the municipality in order for volunteers to collaborate by providing their training and experience, participate in the various workshops and activities that are done or making donations of things they no longer use for Traps of Traperos.
