Cs again claims the establishment of the New Schools building of El Palmar and demands patrimony to curb its deterioration (06/06/2017)

The mayor Paqui Pérez regrets that a building so emblematic, inaugurated in the hamlet on June 6, 1947, continues to deteriorate, without any political leader of the PP do anything to prevent it

It is not the first time that the mayor of Ciudadanos Paqui Pérez calls the attention of the local government on the state of neglect and deterioration that is being suffered by the building New Schools of El Palmar.

It is an inventoried good, which today is seventy years since it was inaugurated, and whose holder is the City of Murcia.

"The building was closed in 2011 and today," Paqui Pérez lamented, "it is still closed to lime and chalk, deteriorating to gait, when it comes to a building that has been part of the life of the people of Which have been formed in their classrooms, which brings together many years of history and experiences.

"At this point," he continued, "the Escuelas Nuevas building is abandoned to its fate, without any political leader of the PP has done anything to remedy it, despite our requests."

"Our obligation is to protect it and restore it as a cultural space for the benefit and enjoyment of all our neighbors," Perez said, adding that "what we can not afford is that it continues to be destroyed, without the local government doing anything to prevent it" .

For all this, the mayor of Cs has once again claimed its value and has demanded the mayor of Patrimonio to stop its deterioration immediately.
