This is foreseen in the Local Strategy presented this morning by Councilman Antonio Navarro, which details half a hundred measures that will be put in place to promote the use of electric vehicles in the municipality.
Six of these actions are already underway or have begun the process for their implementation this year.
This is the case of the installation of recharging points in the urban area, the reservation of parking spaces or exemption in the payment of ORA.
During the last few months a participatory process has been carried out which has allowed the initial draft to be enriched with new contributions from social agents, neighbors and companies.
The process to get the electric vehicle to be part of the landscape of the municipality's sustainable mobility is in progress.
Its roadmap is detailed in the Local Strategy of the Electric Vehicle of the Municipality of Murcia, whose content has been presented today by the Councilor for Urbanism, Environment and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, to the working table composed of associations and related groups of One way or another with electric mobility.
The document sets out the main lines of action that the City Council intends to develop in the area of ​​promotion, promotion and support of electric mobility and "represents the greatest political commitment in this area achieved to date", explains Navarro.
The final strategy plans and guides the work to be done by the City Council for the period 2017 - 2019 to promote the electric vehicle and since the beginning of its development has been a document open to contributions and new ideas.
In fact, of the 33 measures that were initially included, the proposals of experts and citizens at the private level have resulted in a more complete project, with an integrative and participatory approach, with 50 planned actions.
Of these, six have been selected to initiate and materialize them this year due to the interest they have aroused and the best valuation they have received.
The measures, which have a budget of € 180,000, are:
Network of electric recharge points .
A contract is being negotiated for the installation of at least 4 semi-rigid electrical recharge points in the urban area of ​​Murcia.
At the moment, the specifications are in the contracting service, which will allow to tender soon.
Its estimated budget amounts to € 50,000.
Electric recharge in neighboring communities .
A line of subsidies is being launched to support the installation of recharge infrastructure in neighborhood communities.
With a budget of € 20,000, it is being processed.
It is the measure best appreciated by the experts.
Reservation of exclusive parking spaces for electric vehicles.
They will reserve 50 exclusive parking spaces for electric vehicles in the urban case of Murcia.
They will be located in the vicinity of the commercial area, next to gardens and administrative buildings.
In order to use it, it will be necessary to display the "0 emissions" mark awarded by the DGT.
The budget is € 20,000.
Exemption in the payment of the "ORA" and areas of residents to electric vehicles.
It is already in progress.
Vehicles must be "0 emissions" accredited.
To subsidize the purchase of electric vehicles .
A line of aid is being processed for the purchase of electric vehicles with an initial endowment of € 75,000.
It is the measure best valued by the citizens and is in process.
Electric motorcycle project shared in municipal endowments .
They are going to acquire 6 electric bikes to do a project of electric motorcycle shared between the municipal technicians of the Building Abenarabi.
