All municipal centers of districts will have broadband and a state-of-the-art telephony system (26/05/2017)

The Government Board has approved the award of the service contract for Multiservice Data Network, Mobile Telephony, Fixed Telephony and Voice System for the City of Murcia.

The proposal, promoted by the Department of Modernization, will allow municipal centers, sports pavilions and shopping plazas to have an open Wi-Fi connection for citizens.

The Board of Governors has approved the award of the service of Multiservice Data Network, Mobile Telephony, Fixed Telephony and Voice System for the City Council, at the proposal of the Council for Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, directed by José Guillén. The contract includes the services that are currently in operation, as well as the study of expansion, updating of the existing network and supply of all the necessary material for its implementation and will promote an evident evolution in the telephone network of the City Council, which will pass To a voice over IP solution, which will imply profound changes in the municipal data networks.

The main novelties of this contract will be:

The extension of the broadband to all the municipal centers of districts (about 165).

The incorporation to the private municipal broadband network of 10% more seats (15).

Wifi service in all the districts of districts, in sports pavilions and in squares of supplies for access to Internet of the citizens and to the private network by the municipal employees.

Several videoconference rooms.

IP telephony services in all the districts of districts, replacing the current system with one of the latest technology.

Telefónica de España, SA Sociedad Unipersonal se hará cargo de este servicio en los próximos cuatro años, con un presupuesto global de 7.669.263€, de los cuales 4.477.000€ corresponden a la red de datos multiservicio, 923.513€ a telefonía móvil y 2.268.750€ a telefonía fija y sistema de voz.

El primero de ellos realiza el transporte de datos entre las sedes municipales de forma privada y segura, garantizando el ancho de banda requerido para cada servicio (tráfico de datos, voz, multimedia,...), así como el acceso a Internet, tanto de los clientes como de los servidores de acceso público y cualquier otro dispositivo que lo requiera.

Para todas las sedes municipales indicadas en el pliego de especificaciones técnicas, y en los centros deportivos y plazas de abastos, se dispondrá de un servicio de red wifi para acceder a los distintos servicios de la red de cada sede (acceso a Internet ya la red local).

El acceso wifi posibilitará, con las limitaciones y requisitos que la normativa legal establece, que los ciudadanos usen Internet de manera libre y gratuita y que los empleados municipales puedan acceder a la Intranet del Ayuntamiento de forma segura, validándose en el directorio de acceso corporativo.

También se suministrarán varios sistemas de videoconferencia que se instalarán en las sedes del Ayuntamiento de Murcia, entre ellas, en los edificios Anexo y Abenarabi.

Respecto a la telefonía móvil, el sistema estará totalmente integrado con el Plan Privado de Numeración de la Red privada de Telefonía Fija, posibilitando el acceso a los terminales móviles mediante números de extensiones.

En cuanto a la telefonía fija y sistema de voz, el nuevo contrato basa sus requisitos técnicos en un sistema de telefonía IP, instalado en los distintos edificios municipales.

El alcance mínimo es el de migración de todas las sedes municipales a telefonía IP y eliminación, por ser innecesarias, de las centralitas telefónicas que existen en alguna de ellas.
