Culture will take over the gardens on May and June nights. The Cultur-Park festival will bring theater, pop music, dance and urban poetry to the Garden of Floridablanca, Garden of Fame, Santo Domingo and Plaza Circular (26/05/2017)

The City Council re-schedules activities to streamline the green areas of the municipality.

The Council of Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, directed by José Guillén, in collaboration with the Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture, led by Jesús Pacheco, have scheduled the Cultur-Park festival to be held on 27 May And 2, 10 and 17 June in different enclaves of the city.

The Garden of Floridablanca, Garden of Fame, Santo Domingo and Plaza Circular have been chosen opera venues that Murcia can enjoy in family theater, pop music, dance and urban poetry.

Councilor José Guillén explained that "with this initiative, the City of Murcia invites its neighbors to enjoy the summer and public spaces with an innovative and different cultural offer offering free artistic activities."

The program of activities, which will be held from 20.30 to 23.30 hours on four days, will begin on Saturday May 27 in the Garden of Floridablanca with theater activities.

Thus act Aten Soria and the work "Singing Agent";

Newfoundland Theater will play "The Urruti Sisters";

Variable Theater will stage "The Absentees" and Small Theater will act with the work "A imagen y semejanza".

On Friday, June 2 in the Circular Square will take place the musical performances with the performances of Stupid Flanders, Alv MacMartin, Kracauer and Garage Florida.

On Saturday, June 10 in the Plaza de Santo Domingo will be the turn of the dance with the performances of the classic dance company Danzarte 21, young ballet of Murcia that will interpret "BSO";

Roots Dance (Contemporary) will perform "The dance of the reverse, against the wind and tide";

With Fusiones Danza, Groetch School will put on show fusion and the picture formed by Lorena Jiménez (bailaora), Paquito Sánchez (cante) and Ricardo Rodríguez (guitar) will offer their show Aires Flamencos.

This new cycle of activities in the gardens will close on June 17 in the Garden of Fame that will be the scene of urban poetry with Hugo Cano, Nelo Curtis, Teresa Mateo and Samuel Jara.
